Mattia Caroli & I Fiori del Male
ist eine italienische Band aus Rom, die Vintage-Sounds mit psychedelischen Anklängen der 60er Jahre vereint und von Texten großer Gedichtbände und figurativer Kunst und eine Leidenschaft für Kino, Jazz und Literatur inspiriert ist.
In sechs Jahren gaben sie 400 Konzerte in ganz Europa und England, von Paris bis Berlin, von London bis München, wo sie vor 5000 Menschen auftraten. Kürzlich spielten sie vor 9000 Zuschauern im Stadion von Rieti bei einem Benefizspiel mit den berühmtesten italienischen Bands.
Im letzten November hatten sie ein Interview/Live auf dem nationalen Sender Rai3 für eine Show namens Fuori Roma. Wenige Tage nach der Premiere ihrer Videos „Blues man“ und „She Seemed to be Crying“ feierte Rolling Stone Italia Premiere. Kürzlich spielten sie bei „Edicola Fiore“, einer Sendung unter der Regie von Fiorello und Stefano Meloccaro, die auf Sky 1 ausgestrahlt und von Millionen gesehen wurde.
Derzeit sind sie auf ihrer 20. Europatournee.
Ein wenig wie: Pink Floyd, Syd Barrett, Pete Doherty, Nick Drake, Jonathan Wilson, Tom Waits, Yann Tiersen, Edward Sharpe und Magnetic Zeros.

Vintage sounds with hints of 60’s psychedelia, lyrics inspired by
great books of poetry and the figurative art and a desire to be
heard, (despite the difficulties facing artists today) in the sounds of
a group of musicians all born in the center of Italy. In seven years they had 400
concerts around Europe and England: from Paris to Berlin, from
London to Munich where they performed in front of 5000 people.
Recently they played in front of 9000 people at the stadium of
Rieti, for a charity match with the most famous Italian bands.
In November they had an interview/live on the national channel
Rai3, for a show called Fuori Roma. Few days after their video
Blues man and She Seemed to be Crying were premiered by
Rolling Stone Italia. Recently they played at Edicola Fiore, an Italian TV
program directed by Fiorello and Stefano Meloccaro, on air on Sky
1, watched by millions of people in Italy.
Right now they are on their 20th European tour.
